Credit Guarantee Fund for Micro & Small Enterprises (CGTMSE)

Enables collateral-free, guarantor-free bank credit to micro and small enterprises by guaranteeing a large share of the loan to the lender.

Eligibility criteria

  • Runs (or plans to start) a business / self-employment
  • Micro or Small Enterprise (manufacturing, services or trading; excludes agriculture and SHGs)

Note: There is no direct borrower application to the trust — apply for a loan at a CGTMSE-registered Member Lending Institution (bank/SFB/NBFC), which routes the guarantee cover through CGTMSE.

  • Udyam / business registration certificate
  • Project report / loan proposal
  • PAN & KYC
  • Bank statements & financials / ITR
