e-Shram Card (Unorganised Workers)

A national database and identity card for unorganised-sector workers, enabling access to social-security and welfare schemes, including accidental insurance cover.
Eligibility criteria
- Age is between 16 and 59 years
- Works in the unorganised / informal sector (not covered by EPFO/ESIC)
Note: For unorganised workers aged 16–59 (e.g. daily-wage, construction, gig, domestic, agricultural labour) who are not covered by EPFO/ESIC and are not income-tax payers.
Documents required
- Aadhaar card
- Aadhaar-linked mobile number
- Bank account details
