Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)

A monthly pension for persons with severe or multiple disabilities from below-poverty-line households.

Eligibility criteria

  • Person with benchmark disability (40% or more)
  • Age is between 18 and 79 years
  • Belongs to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) / priority-ration-card household
  • Has a severe or multiple disability (usually 80%+)

Note: Targets persons with severe or multiple disabilities (typically 80%+) from BPL households. Amounts shown are the central share; states often add a top-up.

  • Disability certificate (severe / multiple, 80%+)
  • BPL / income documentation
  • Bank / post office account
