Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS)

A monthly pension for elderly citizens living below the poverty line, under the National Social Assistance Programme.

Eligibility criteria

  • Age is 60 years or above
  • Belongs to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) / priority-ration-card household

Note: Amounts shown are the central share only — most states add a top-up, so the pension actually received is usually higher. Confirm the total and your BPL status with your local body.
