Cash assistance to encourage institutional delivery, reducing maternal and newborn mortality among poorer households.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicant is female
- Pregnant woman delivering in a government/accredited facility (in high-performing states: BPL/SC/ST)
Note: In low-performing states all pregnant women delivering in public/accredited facilities are eligible; in high-performing states the mother's cash targets BPL/SC/ST women. A common guideline also applies age 19+ and up to two live births — confirm locally.

- Proof of age (Aadhaar / birth certificate)
- BPL or SC/ST certificate (for high-performing states)
- Bank account details
- Delivery / institution record
