A voluntary, contributory pension scheme for unorganised-sector workers, with the government matching the worker's contribution.
Eligibility criteria
- Age is between 18 and 40 years
- Annual family income is ₹1.8 lakh or less
- Unorganised-sector worker, not covered by EPFO/ESIC/NPS and not an income-tax payer
Note: For unorganised workers aged 18–40 with monthly income up to ₹15,000 (≈₹1.8 lakh/year). Not for those already in EPFO/ESIC/NPS.
