Credit-linked subsidy to help individuals set up new micro-enterprises and generate self-employment in the non-farm sector.

Eligibility criteria

  • Age is 18 years or above
  • Runs (or plans to start) a business / self-employment

Note: For new units only. For projects above ₹10 lakh (manufacturing) / ₹5 lakh (service), a minimum of class 8 pass is required. Higher subsidy for SC/ST/OBC/women/special categories.

Documents required

  • Aadhaar & identity proof
  • Project report
  • Education / EDP training certificate (if applicable)
  • Category / special-category certificate (if applicable)
