A maternity benefit providing partial wage compensation and a cash incentive to pregnant women and lactating mothers for improved health and nutrition.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicant is female
- Age is 19 years or above
- Pregnant woman or lactating mother (as per scheme conditions)
Note: Aimed at pregnant women and lactating mothers aged 19+. Benefit conditions differ for the first and second child. Verify at your Anganwadi centre.
Documents required
- Aadhaar card of the mother
- Bank / post office account (Aadhaar-linked)
- MCP (Mother & Child Protection) card
- Pregnancy / delivery details
