National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0)

One-year on-the-job apprenticeships for degree engineers, diploma holders and vocational graduates, ending with a nationally-recognised certificate.

Eligibility criteria

  • Age is 18 years or above
  • Graduate engineer, diploma holder, or 10+2 vocational / eligible general-stream graduate

Note: Distinct from NAPS — NATS targets degree/diploma technical graduates. Confirm current stipend values on the portal.

Documents required

  • Aadhaar
  • Degree / diploma certificate & mark sheets
  • Bank account details
  • Passport-size photograph & resume

How to apply for National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0)

  2. 2Keep the required documents ready: Aadhaar, Degree / diploma certificate & mark sheets, Bank account details, Passport-size photograph & resume.
  3. 3Apply on the official portal — https://nats.education.gov.in — or through the channel it specifies.
  4. 4Note the deadline: Open — register on the NATS 2.0 portal; placements year-round.
