PM-YASASVI Scholarship (OBC / EBC / DNT students)

Scholarships for meritorious OBC, Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De-notified Tribe (DNT) students in classes 9 and 11.

Eligibility criteria

  • Belongs to category: OBC / EWS
  • Currently a student
  • Age is between 13 and 18 years
  • Annual family income is ₹2.5 lakh or less

Note: For OBC/EBC/DNT students in Class 9 or 11; family income ceiling ₹2.5 lakh. Selection is merit-based (Class 8/10). Applied via the National Scholarship Portal.

Documents required

  • Aadhaar (student/parent)
  • Class 8 or 10 mark sheet
  • Income certificate (≤ ₹2.5 lakh)
  • OBC / EBC / DNT category certificate
  • School / UDISE verification

How to apply for PM-YASASVI Scholarship (OBC / EBC / DNT students)

  1. 1Confirm you meet the eligibility criteria (use the eligibility checker below).
  2. 2Keep the required documents ready: Aadhaar (student/parent), Class 8 or 10 mark sheet, Income certificate (≤ ₹2.5 lakh), OBC / EBC / DNT category certificate, School / UDISE verification.
  3. 3Apply on the official portal — https://scholarships.gov.in — or through the channel it specifies.
  4. 4Apply before the deadline (Annual window — typically closes around 31 Oct (verify on NSP)).
